HELLO, I'M BECKI

I’m a portrait photographer based in Bristol, a mum, and someone who genuinely loves capturing the moments that matter most.

For me, photography has never been about creating perfect pictures of perfect people. It’s about capturing the connection, personality and little moments that make your story yours.

I picked up my first camera when I was a child, and that love of capturing people and stories has stayed with me ever since.

Before moving into education, I worked in portrait studios, where I discovered not only my love for photography, but also how important it is to help people feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I founded R.M. Photography, bringing together my years of photographic experience with what I had learned from working with children, young people and families.

Today, my work in education and photography complement each other perfectly. Education has taught me patience, adaptability and an understanding that every child and every family is different - and that shapes the way I photograph too.

Whether your little one is full of energy, a little shy, or simply needs time to feel comfortable, there is always a way to capture the moments that make them who they are.

My approach is simple: I'll gently guide you when needed, but I'll also leave space for the real moments to happen - the laughter, the connection and the personalities that make your photographs truly yours.
